Date:  Saturday June 19, 2010 - Fathers Day Weekend at 8:30 am

Where:  Kingwood Park in New Jersey

Why:  The goal of the Run Daddy Run Event is to celebrate Fathers and their families on Fathers Day Weekend!

The Run Daddy Run race committee felt it would be a great benefit to the runners and the community by adding the HCM Foundation to the team for this 3rd year Event.  HCM provides free race promotion, organization, and a donation back to the Frenchtown and Kingwood Township Community.

Proceeds:  100% of the proceeds will be divided between HCM Service Programs, HCM Scholarship Program, and the Frenchtown Presbyterian Church.

Scholarship Application:  The purpose of the HCM Foundation Run Daddy Run New Jersey College Scholarship Program is to use a portion of the Run Daddy Run NJ 5k Event proceeds to assist high school students, residing in Hunterdon County NJ, who have been significantly impacted by cancer and/or wish to pursue a career in a cancer related field.  In 2010, HCM Foundation awarded Samantha Rayhon with a $1,000 college scholarship at the Run Daddy Run Event.  We thank all the participants for contributing to this scholarship!

Results:  Timed results were provided by Pretzel City Sports and are posted on www.pretzelcitysports.com.  You may also locate them by clicking on 2010 Race Results at the top of this page!

Course:  An accurate wheel-measured flat and fast course through scenic Kingwood Park made up of walking paths and paved roads.

Awards:  Awards in the 5k were presented to the overall male and female winners and to the top 3 male and female winners in the following age groups:  14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over.  All participants in the Kids Fun Run received an award!
